Dear God, open a door for my message, so that I may proclaim the mystery of Christ. I pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Colossians 4:3-4

Happy Birthday Mother Mary

The Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is celebrated September 8, falls exactly nine months after the feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary as God prepares the way for the birth of Jesus Christ.

"When the holy Virgin was born then the whole world was filled with light."

Mary is the light that announces the radiant Sun of Justice, Jesus our Savior. As we celebrate her birthday we are reminded of her mission in the life of the Church. She is the one who points the way to Christ.

Happy birthday to the greatest, most loving Mother of all!
 Say a "Hail Mary"

Hail Mary, full of grace!
the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
