The Most Blessed Virgin Mary was filled by God with grace,
and as such was saluted by the angel,
"Hail, full of grace..."
not for herself alone, but also for us.
She received this grace,
that she might give in return salvation to all.
Mary, Mother of God, pray to Jesus for me.
My Mother, mother of my soul,
thou who lovest me,
and desirest my salvation
more than any other after God,
O Mother, show thyself a Mother.
My Mother, grant that I may always remember thee!
