By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. (Proverbs 24:3-4) Then Jesus said to his disciples, Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (Matthew 16:24) He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15)

Blessed is the man who fears the LORD
| Psalms 112: 1 - 2, 4 - 5, 9 | |
| 1 | Praise the LORD. Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! |
| 2 | His descendants will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. |
| 4 | Light rises in the darkness for the upright; the LORD is gracious, merciful, and righteous. |
| 5 | It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice. |
| 9 | He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever; his horn is exalted in honor. |

Blessed the man who fears the Lord (Psalm 112)
Blessed the man who fears the LORD,
who greatly delights in his commands.
His posterity shall be mighty upon the earth;
the upright generation shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house;
his generosity shall endure forever.
Light shines through the darkness for the upright;
he is gracious and merciful and just.
Well for the man who is gracious and lends,
who conducts his affairs with justice;
He shall never be moved;
the just one shall be in everlasting remembrance.
An evil report he shall not fear.
His heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is steadfast;
he shall not fear till he looks down upon his foes.
Lavishly he gives to the poor,
his generosity shall endure forever,
his horn shall be exalted in glory.

Prayer for life by Blessed Pope John Paul II
O Mary, bright dawn of the new world,
Mother of the living,
to you do we entrust the cause of life:
Look down, O Mother, upon the vast numbers
of babies to be born,
of the poor whose lives are made difficult,
of men and women who are victims of brutal violence,
of the elderly and the sick killed
by indifference or out of misguided mercy.
Grant that all who believe in your Son
may proclaim the Gospel of life
with honesty and love to the people of our time.
Obtain for them the grace
to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new,
the joy of celebrating it with gratitude
throughout their lives
and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely,
in order to build,
together with all people of good will,
the civilization of truth and love,
to the praise and glory of God,
the Creator and lover of life.
* Pope John Paul II
Encyclical Letter "The Gospel of Life"
Given in Rome, on March 25,
the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord,
in the year 1995.
