Prayer for the Home to our Mother of Perpetual Help

 

Mother of Perpetual Help we choose you as Queen of our homes. We ask you to bless all our families with your tender motherly love. May the Sacrament of Marriage bind husbands and wives so closely together that they will always be faithful to each other and love one another as Christ loves his Church.

We ask you to bless all parents. May they love and cherish the children whom God has entrusted to them. May they always give them the example of a truly Christian life. Help them to bring up their children in the love and fear of God. Bless all children that they may love, honor and obey their fathers and mothers. To your loving care we especially entrust the youth of today.

Give us all a sense of responsibility that we may do our part in making our home a haven of peace like your own home at Nazareth. We take you as our model. Help us to grow daily in genuine love of God and neighbor so that justice and peace may happily reign in the entire family of mankind. Amen.

Prayer for mothers who are giving birth (in labor)

God, our Father, look at all of us who are restless praying for (name) who is facing labor. How anxious and worried is she he was due to maternity pain. How she struggling to give birth to a new human life to be amidst us. Grant her the strength and calmness to overcome the maternity pain. Calm her heart so that she will go through this labor without any complications or difficulty. Hopefully after this heavy suffering and sacrifice, she will experience total recovery, joy and happiness which this new born baby brings in the family's life and the world. May she and her spouse after this joyful event continue their new duty of caring for and raising the baby. All of this we ask through Jesus Christ, our Lord, and our mediator. Amen.

Happy Mother's Day to All Mothers not forgetting our loving Divine Mother Mary ~ 8 May 2016

To all Mothers,

have a Happy and Blessed MOTHER's day.

Dearest Mother Mary,
you are the Mother of all Mothers,
you a the highly favoured by God,
to be the mother of His only Son,
our Lord JESUS CHRIST,
continue to guide us and care for us,
and pray and intercede with Jesus,
on our behalf as we submit
our prayers, petitions and request to you,
In you mercy and love for us,
we are confident in your intercession.
Mother Mary we LOVE you,

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"

"Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."

Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

"Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking it's life."

"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."

God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

No Matter What I Do

St. Jude's Prayer for Mothers

St. Jude, patron of hope, carry our gratitude for our 

mothers to our loving God in heaven. May all mothers be 

filled with the spirit of life that is theirs as creators of life. 

Help them to grow in faith, that they may impart the 

wisdom of Christ to all who look to them for guidance. We 

pray that you will give your tender mercy to mothers who 

grieve, and hold close our beloved mothers who have 

gone to their eternal rest. 

St. Jude, pray for our mothers and all who have nurtured our lives.
AMEN.
