Dear God, open a door for my message, so that I may proclaim the mystery of Christ. I pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Colossians 4:3-4

Have Confidence and Trust in JESUS

This is the confidence that we have toward Him, that, no matter what it is that we ask according to His will, His Father's will, He hears us.
(1 John 5:14)

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all.
(Psalm 34:19)

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit.
(Psalm34:18)

When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.
(Psalm 94:19)

Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
(Psalm 55:22)

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.
(1 Peter 5:6)

Doa kepada Salib Suci Kristus

Terpujilah Tuhan Yesus Kristus,
yang wafat di kayu salib,
disalib untuk dosa kita.
Kristus Suci yang disalibkan,
mohon selalu beserta kami;
Kristus Suci yang disalibkan,
mohon perlindungan;
Kristus Suci disalibkan,
Kau adalah terang abadi bagi keluarga kami;
Kristus Suci yang disalibkan,
lindungilah kami dari senjata tajam,
Kristus Suci yang disalibkan,
datanglah datanglah di akhir perjalanan hidup kami.
Kristus Suci yang disalibkan,
lindungilah kami dari godaan dalam menghadapi maut. Kristus Suci yang disalibkan,
lindungilah kami dari malapetaka.

Salib Suci Kristus kami luhurkan Dikau.
O Yesus dari Nazareth yang disalib,
lindungilah kami dari seteru jahat
yang terlihat dan tidak terlihat,
sekarang dan selama-lamanya.
Amin.

AMIN

Sebutkan satu kali, Bapa Kami, Salam Maria dan Kemuliaan.

Lord, Give Me Strength

Lord, you are Holy above all others,
and all of the strength that I need is in your hands.

I am not asking, Lord, that you take this trial away. Instead, I simply ask that Your will be done in my life. Whatever that means, that is what I want.
But I admit that it's hard, Lord.
Sometimes I feel like I can’t go on.
The pain and the fear are too much for me,
and I know that I don’t have the strength
on my own to get through this.
I know that I can come to you, Jesus,
and that you will hear my prayer.
I know that it is not your intent
to bring me to this point
just to leave me in the wilderness alone.
Please, Lord, give me the strength
that I need to face today and
don't have to worry about tomorrow.
If you just give me the strength that I need today
that is all I need.
Keep me from sinning during this trial.
Instead, help me to keep my eyes on you.
You are the Holy Lord, and all of my hope rests in you.
Thank you for hearing my prayer.
In Jesus' name.
Amen.

Prayer for the Lord's Help and Blessing in times of Financial Crisis and Woe

I TRUST in You Lord,
You will PROVIDE for my needs
and RELIEVE me of my debts.

Heavenly Father, I Come before you today to ask for a financial blessing to improve my life. My faith keeps me strong, and I know you will provide for me and the people I love.
I do not seek a large sum of money. I do not trouble you for unneeded comforts or luxury. I only ask for enough money to relieve my financial woes and ease this stress.
Give me the means to do your work, and spread your Love. I have so much to give, if only I were allowed the chance.
In your name I pray, Amen

~ * ~~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~

Lord, I confess I've made mistakes. I have accumulated too much debt, and now I can not imagine overcoming it without your help.
Please Lord, I beg of you to intercede on my behalf. Provide me with the financial means to be able to breathe again.
Please forgive my sins, Lord. Walk with me and help me to make the right decisions throughout my life.
In your name I pray, Amen

O Holy Trinity,

Pope John Paul II,
and for having made him shine
with your Fatherly tenderness,
the glory of the Cross of Christ
and the splendor of the Spirit of love

He, trusting completely in Your infinite mercy
and in the maternal intercession of Mary, has shown himself
in the likeness of Jesus the Good Shepherd
and has pointed out to us holiness
as the path to reach eternal communion with You.

Grant us, through his intercession,
according to your will, the grace that we implore,
as he has been canonized to join You among Your saints.

Prayer for obtaining the Lord's Graces through the intercession of Saint Faustina

O Jesus, You inspired Saint Faustina with profound veneration for Your boundless Mercy, deign, if it be Your holy will, to grant me, through her intercession, the grace for which I fervently pray…

My sins render me unworthy of Your Mercy, but be mindful of Saint Faustina's spirit of sacrifice and self-denial, and reward her virtue by granting the petition, with childlike confidence, I present to you through her intercession.

Glory...
Saint Faustina pray for us.

Divine Mercy Sunday ~ 2014 (Second Sunday of Easter)

"I shall sing forever the Lord's mercy."

Jesus to Sister Faustina, "My daughter, tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet. My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or of angel, will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity. Everything that exists has come forth from the very depths of My most tender mercy. Every soul in its relation to Me will contemplate My love and mercy throughout eternity. The Feast of Mercy emerged from My very depths of tenderness. It is My desire that it be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy.

"[Let] the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy. They have the right before others to trust in the abyss of My mercy. My daughter, write about My mercy towards tormented souls. Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in My unfathomable and inscrutable mercy. Write: before I come as a just Judge, I first open wide the door of My mercy. He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through the door of My justice.

"From all My wounds, like from streams, mercy flows for souls, but the wound in My Heart is the fountain of unfathomable mercy. From this fountain spring all graces for souls. The flames of compassion burn Me. I desire greatly to pour them out upon souls. Speak to the whole world about My mercy."

Pope Francis “decreed that Blessed's John XXIII and John Paul II will be enrolled (canonized) among the saints on April 27, 2014, the Second Sunday of Easter, of the Divine Mercy.”

God of everlasting mercy, who in the very recurrence of the paschal feast kindle the faith of the people you have made your own, increase, we pray, the grace you have bestowed, that all may grasp and rightly understand in what font they have been washed, by whose Spirit they have been reborn, by whose Blood they have been redeemed. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Second Sunday of Easter or Divine Mercy Sunday

Reading 1
Acts 2: 42 - 47
42And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
43And fear came upon every soul; and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
44And all who believed were together and had all things in common;
45and they sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all, as any had need.
46And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they partook of food with glad and generous hearts,
47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Psalm
Psalms 118: 2 - 4, 13 - 15, 22 - 24
2Let Israel say, "His steadfast love endures for ever."
3Let the house of Aaron say, "His steadfast love endures for ever."
4Let those who fear the LORD say, "His steadfast love endures for ever."
13I was pushed hard, so that I was falling, but the LORD helped me.
14The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
15Hark, glad songs of victory in the tents of the righteous: "The right hand of the LORD does valiantly,
22The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.
23This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
24This is the day which the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Reading 2
1 Peter 1: 3 - 9
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4and to an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
5who by God's power are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6In this you rejoice, though now for a little while you may have to suffer various trials,
7so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold which though perishable is tested by fire, may redound to praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
8Without having seen him you love him; though you do not now see him you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy.
9As the outcome of your faith you obtain the salvation of your souls.

Gospel
John 20: 19 - 31
19On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."
20When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
21Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you."
22And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
23If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."
24Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came.
25So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and place my finger in the mark of the nails, and place my hand in his side, I will not believe."
26Eight days later, his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. The doors were shut, but Jesus came and stood among them, and said, "Peace be with you."
27Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side; do not be faithless, but believing."
28Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"
29Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe."
30Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;
31but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.

Easter Sunday (Solemnity) ~ 2014

Hallelujah Jesus is alive
Death has lost its victory
And the grave has been denied
Jesus lives forever
He's alive! He's alive!

Easter is a time of renewal and rejoicing for Christians. The Roman Catholic, Anglican and Greek Orthodox Churches commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with the Easter Mass. Jesus Christ rose from death to new life and He promises a share in the new life in His Father’s kingdom to all who believe in Him.

Happy is the one that trusts in the Lord.
The way to new life and to know true happiness
is ONLY by
believing in Jesus Christ
and through Him we will be saved.

He will swallow up death in victory;
and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces.
Isaiah 25:8

"We normally think of the paschal mystery in term of the Suffering, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord. Actually the Paschal Mystery includes the Ascension and sending of the Spirit as well. Thus our celebration of the Paschal Mystery does not end on Easter Sunday morning but continues throughout the entire Easter Season which ends on the Feast of Pentecost which celebrates the sending of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and on Mary." ~ Fr. Mark Watson

God of Life,
who for our redemption didst give thine only-begotten Son
to the death of the cross,
and by his glorious resurrection
hast delivered us from the power of our enemy:
grant us so to die daily unto sin
that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his risen life;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Easter Sunday (Solemnity)

Reading 1
Acts 10:34a, 37-43
Peter proceeded to speak and said:

“You know what has happened all over Judea,
beginning in Galilee after the baptism
that John preached,
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth
with the Holy Spirit and power.
He went about doing good
and healing all those oppressed by the devil,
for God was with him.
We are witnesses of all that he did
both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem.
They put him to death by hanging him on a tree.
This man God raised on the third day and granted that he be visible,
not to all the people, but to us,
the witnesses chosen by God in advance,
who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
He commissioned us to preach to the people
and testify that he is the one appointed by God
as judge of the living and the dead.
To him all the prophets bear witness,
that everyone who believes in him
will receive forgiveness of sins through his name.”

Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 118:1-2, 16-17, 22-23
R/ This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad. (24)
or:
R/ Alleluia.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,
for his mercy endures forever.
Let the house of Israel say,
“His mercy endures forever.”

R/ This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad.
or:
R/ Alleluia.

“The right hand of the LORD has struck with power;
the right hand of the LORD is exalted.
I shall not die, but live,
and declare the works of the LORD.”

R/ This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad.
or:
R/ Alleluia.

The stone which the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.
By the LORD has this been done;
it is wonderful in our eyes.

R/ This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad.
or:
R/ Alleluia.

Reading 2
Colossians 3:1-4
Brothers and sisters:

If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above,
where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Think of what is above, not of what is on earth.
For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ your life appears,
then you too will appear with him in glory.

Or

1 Corinthians 5:6b-8
Brothers and sisters:

Do you not know that a little yeast leavens all the dough?
Clear out the old yeast,
so that you may become a fresh batch of dough,
inasmuch as you are unleavened.
For our paschal lamb, Christ, has been sacrificed.
Therefore, let us celebrate the feast,
not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness,
but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Sequence - Victimæ Paschali Laudes
Christians, to the Paschal Victim
Offer your thankful praises!

A Lamb the sheep redeems;
Christ, who only is sinless,
Reconciles sinners to the Father.
Death and life have contended in that combat stupendous:
The Prince of life, who died, reigns immortal.
Speak, Mary, declaring
What you saw, wayfaring.
“The tomb of Christ, who is living,
The glory of Jesus’ resurrection;
bright angels attesting,
The shroud and napkin resting.
Yes, Christ my hope is arisen;
to Galilee he goes before you.”
Christ indeed from death is risen, our new life obtaining.
Have mercy, victor King, ever reigning!
Amen. Alleluia.

Gospel
John 20:1-9
On the first day of the week,

Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning,
while it was still dark,
and saw the stone removed from the tomb.
So she ran and went to Simon Peter
and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them,
“They have taken the Lord from the tomb,
and we don’t know where they put him.”
So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb.
They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter
and arrived at the tomb first;
he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in.
When Simon Peter arrived after him,
he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there,
and the cloth that had covered his head,
not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place.
Then the other disciple also went in,
the one who had arrived at the tomb first,
and he saw and believed.
For they did not yet understand the Scripture
that he had to rise from the dead.
