Dear God, open a door for my message, so that I may proclaim the mystery of Christ. I pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Colossians 4:3-4

The Immaculate Heart of Mary (optional memorial) ~ 13 June 2015

"O Mary, conceived without sin,
pray for us who have recourse to thee."

"Everything in Mary leads us toward her Son, our only Saviour, by whose foreseen merits she was preserved immaculate and full of grace; everything in Mary lifts up our hearts to the praise of the Holy Trinity." ~ Pope Paul VI in encyclical celebrating the centenary of the apparitions at Lourdes.

But Mary kept all these words, pondering them in her heart.
Luke 2:19

And he went down with them and came to Nazareth
and was subject to them.
And his mother kept all these words in her heart.
Luke 2:51

"I will never leave you;
my Immaculate Heart will be your refuge,
and the way that will lead you to God."
~ Our Lady to the Lucia at Fatima, 13 June, 1917 ~

Grant, Lord God, that we, your servants, may rejoice in unfailing health of mind and body, and, through the glorious intercession of Blessed Mary ever-Virgin, may we be set free from present sorrow and come to enjoy eternal happiness. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Gospel
Luke 2:41-51
The Boy Jesus in the Temple
Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom; and when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it, but supposing him to be in the company they went a day’s journey, and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances; and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions; and all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. And when they saw him they were astonished; and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been looking for you anxiously.” And he said to them, “How is it that you sought me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?” And they did not understand the saying which he spoke to them. And he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart.

Consecration To The Immaculate Heart of the Queen of Peace

I love you as you love me;
I want to love you with all my strength to be.

I love you!
I want to love you with all my heart;
I want to love you so much we will never part.
I love you with all my soul and mind;
I want to love you with all the hope, faith,
and joy I can find.

I love you!
I want to love you beyond the most beautiful word;
I want to love you with the greatest symphony
of music that can be heard.

I love you!
I love you more than all the angels;
I want to love you more than anything created;
I want to love you as far as the Heavens can see;
and I want you to know that it comes all from me!

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death

O my Mother, by the love which Thou bearest to God, I beseech Thee to help me at all times. Leave me not, until thou seest me safe in heaven, blessing Thee and singing Thy mercies for all eternity. AMEN.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
“Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.”
Continue to pray the Rosary every day.

** Please Share this if you love Mother Mary.

Consecrate oneself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Any prayer may be used to consecrate oneself to the Mother of God, as long as it involves a total oblation of oneself. As a suggestion, one of the following consecrations could be renewed each first Saturday with the shorter prayer renewed daily.

  • O Virgin Mary, most powerful Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and earth, in accordance with your wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate myself today to your Immaculate Heart. To you I entrust all that I have, all that I am. Reign over me, dearest Mother, that I may be yours in prosperity, in adversity, in joy and in sorrow, in health and in sickness, in life and in death. Most compassionate Heart of Mary, Queen of Virgins, watch over my mind and heart and preserve me from the deluge of impurity which you lamented so sorrowfully at Fatima. I want to be pure like you. I want to atone for the many crimes committed against Jesus and you. I want to call down upon this country and the whole world the peace of God in justice and charity. Mindful of this consecration, I now promise to strive to imitate you by the practice of the Christian virtues without regard for human respect. I resolve to receive Holy Communion on the first Saturday of every month when possible, and to offer daily five decades of the Rosary, with all my sacrifices in the spirit of penance and reparation. Amen.

  • I, . . ., a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy Heart, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, in the presence of all the heavenly court, I choose thee this day for my Mother and Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, and to thy Immaculate Heart, as thy child and slave of love, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen.

Short daily renewal of

Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

  • Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, I renew my consecration to you and to your Immaculate Heart. Please accept me, my dear Mother, and use me as you wish to accomplish your designs upon the world. I am all yours, my Mother, my Queen, and all that I have is yours. Amen.

  • My Queen and my Mother, I give myself entirely to you; and to show my devotion to you, I consecrate to you this day my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my whole being without reserve. Wherefore, good Mother, as I am your own, keep me, guard me, as your property and possession. Amen.

Consecration of the World to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by Pope Francis (13 October, 2013)

Pope Francis will consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Sunday, 13 October 2013 which has been dedicated the Marian Day of the Year of Faith. 13 October is significant because it was on that day in 1917 that Our Lady’s promised "Miracle of the Sun" took place witnessed by over 70,000 pilgrims at Fatima. Portugal. Pope Francis requested to the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal that the original iconic statue of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima be brought to the Vatican for the celebration. Cardinal Rino Fisichella wrote that in his letter, "The Holy Father strongly desires that the Marian Day may have present, as a special sign, one of the most significant Marian icons for Christians throughout the world, and, for that reason, we thought of the beloved original statue of Our Lady of Fatima.” Our Lady of Fatima appeared to three shepherd children in the village of Fatima in Portugal in 1917 and in her second secret message warned of violent trials in the 20th century if the world did not make reparation for sins. She urged prayer and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The statue of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima will leave for Rome on 12 October 2013 from the shrine’s Little Chapel of Apparitions in which it is venerated. This will the 11th time the statue of Our Lady of Fatima has been removed from the Portuguese Marian shrine.since it was made in 1920. On 12 October 2013, Pope Francis and the pilgrims will welcome the statue to St Peter’s Square during an evening prayer service. After which it will be taken to the Rome Shrine of Divine Love, where the Diocese of Rome plans an all-night vigil. The statue and the pilgrims will return to St Peter’s Square on 13 October 2013 for the recitation of the rosary and Mass with Pope Francis.

Cardinal Jose Polycarp, the patriarch of Lisbon, consecrated the Pope’s pontificate to Our Lady of Fatima on 13 May, her feast day by the Holy Father Pope Francis. By making this act of dedication to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Pope Francis is signalling his continuity with Venerable Pius XII and Blessed John Paul II. Pope Pius XII dedicated the people of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1952 and Blessed John Paul II dedicated the Modern World to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1982, renewed in 1983, and dedicated all individuals and peoples of the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1984.

Blessed John Paul II said the following during the consecration in 1982:
‘This world of individuals and nations I too have before my eyes today, as I renew the entrusting and consecration carried out by my Predecessor in the See of Peter: the world of the second millennium that is drawing to a close, the modern world, our world today!

‘This world of individuals and nations I too have before my eyes today, as I renew the entrusting and consecration carried out by my Predecessor in the See of Peter: the world of the second millennium that is drawing to a close, the modern world, our world today!

The Church, mindful of the Lord’s words: “Go… and make disciples of all nations… and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age” (Mt 28:19-20), renewed, at the Second Vatican Council, her awareness of her mission in this world.

And therefore, O Mother of individuals and peoples, you who “know all their sufferings-and their hopes”, you who have a mother’s awareness of all the struggles between good and evil, between light and darkness, which afflict the modern world, accept the cry which we, as though moved by the Holy Spirit, address directly to your Heart. Embrace, with the love of the Mother and Handmaid, this human world of ours, which we entrust and consecrate to you, for we are full of disquiet for the earthly and eternal destiny of individuals and peoples.
In a special way we entrust and consecrate to you those individuals and nations which particularly need to be entrusted and consecrated.
“We have recourse to your protection, holy Mother of God: reject not the prayers we send up to you in our necessities.
Reject them not!
Accept our humble trust-and our act of entrusting!’

Our Lady of Fatima (Second Secret Message)
“I have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end: but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the Pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illuminated by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that he is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.”

Catholic churches throughout the world would be joining the Pope Francis in consecrating their parish, state and country to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Sunday, 13 October 2013.

Amen.
