Prayer in times of sickness

Lord Jesus, 

You suffered and died for us. 

You understand suffering. 

Teach me to understand my suffering as You do; 

to bear it in union with You; 

to offer it with You 

to atone for my sins 

and to bring your grace to souls in need. 

Calm my fears; increase my trust. 

May I gladly accept your holy will 

and become more like You in trial. 

If it be your will, restore me to health 

so that I may work for your honor and glory 

and the salvation of all. 

Amen.

Prayer in times of financial difficulties

Dear Lord,
In this time of uncertainty,
Be my rock in a world built on sand;
Be my oasis of grace and peace in a world of tension and turmoil;
Help me to carry my cross gracefully, as you did in Your Passion;
Help me to follow Your beam of light in the midst of this darkness;
Help me to see Your will in all things
And show others Your comfort and strength.

Keep me calm when tempers flare up;
Keep me sane in a crazy world;
Keep me focused on the houses in Heaven
rather than the houses of cards collapsing around me;
Keep my eyes focused on the prize of Heaven
and not lose hope in You in this world or in the world to come;
Make me compassionate in dealing with others;
Let me see my travails as carrying my cross and sharing in Your Passion, for the love of You and for the salvation of souls, including mine.
And may all my difficulties be ultimately for my good and Your glory.
Amen.

Lord, I continue to SEEK your HELP in this times of URGENT NEED, in JESUS Name I request and pray

Lord Jesus, You are my Lord who is full of compassion and mercy. I thank you Lord for all you have given me in my life but now I your servant Lord beg for your help as I need some funds in this time of immediate and urgent need. Jesus, you are my healer and provider, in you alone I trust and I believe you will work the Miracle wonder in healing me from my troubles and difficulties. Lord have pity on me, I am crying to You, Lord and I know You will hear and answer me. If it is Your will Lord, let it be done unto me Your servant. In Your most holy and precious name JESUS, I surrender all to You, and wait in hope and trust to Your answer to my prayer. Amen.

Dear Lord of Goodness and Compassion, 

Almighty and Divine is your name, 

I want to ask forgiveness 

for all my wrongdoings in the past 

which caused me to suffer 

from this financial difficulties. 

Dear Lord, I am in serious 

need of financial assistance 

to settle off my debts. 

Heavenly Father, 

please grant me 

your mercy and miraculous help

I truly trust, believe and have confident

that You will answer my prayer. 

Through the most precious name of Jesus,

I pray and beg You,

Dearest Lord,

My spirit is full, 

but my wallet is always empty

I need your help Jesus.

My finances are in crisis, 

and are causing me great pain.

I pray for You Lord, 

to hear, provide and guide me 

in Your infinite mercy, love and wisdom.

I asked for strength that I might achieve;

I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.

I asked for health that I might do greater things;

I was given infirmity that I might do better things.

I asked for riches that I might be happy;

I was given poverty that I might be wise.

I asked for power that I might have the praise of others;

I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.

I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;

I was given life that I might enjoy all things.

I got nothing that I had asked for,

but everything that I had hoped for.

Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered;

I am, among all people, most richly blessed.

Times of Economic Hardship Prayer

To Our Mother of Perpetual Help

 

 

Realizing, dearest Mother of Perpetual Help, that thou art our perpetual help not only in spiritual but also in temporal necessities, we approach thee with submissive and humble hearts because we have a child-like and affectionate trust in thy power and goodness, beseeching thee to assist us in our present financial worry. Owing to untoward circumstances which have arisen in our lives, we are in dire want and pecuniary embarrassment, being unable to meet our honest debts.

We are not asking, dearest Mother of Perpetual Help, for wealth, if the possession of it is not in accordance with the holy will of God. We merely beg of thee that assistance which will enable us to satisfy our most pressing obligations.

We believe, Dear Mother of God, that thou art the Queen of heaven and earth, and as such, the instrument and special dispenser of thy divine Son's graces; that thou hast acquired by virtue of thy wonderful dignity, a sweet jurisdiction over all creation. We believe that thou art not only rich and bountiful, but extremely kind and generous to all thy loving and devoted children. We plead with thee, therefore, dear Mother, to obtain for us the help we so urgently need in our present financial difficulty. We thank thee, dear Lady of Perpetual Help, and promise to publish far and near, the glories of thy miraculous picture.
