but You are so merciful and You word has power

You just have to command

Our Lady of Lourdes, I beg your prayer and intercession

Mother Mary you have appeared in Lourdes, I may not have the chance to go there but I truly know by this petition I make to you I will be healed like many who have experience your healing prayer and water from the pool. Please pray that my right knee/leg pain be healed and also my urgent and desperate need for a financial breakthrough to overcome my debt backlog loan repayments, people I owe, bills unpaid and for my own basic use like car repairs, food, toll, petrol and to help my mother instead of she help me. I am confident in your prayer and intercession on behalf of me, will pleasing to God's will and will be answered. Amen.

Miraculous Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, You who makes me see everything, and shows me the way to reach my ideal. You, who gives me the Divine gift, to forgive, and forget, all the wrong that is done to me, and You, who are in all instances of my life with me. I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You, for everything, and affirm once more, that I never want to be separated from You, no matter how great the material desires may be, I want to be with You, and my loved ones, in Your Perpetual Glory. 

To that end and submitting to God's Holy Will, I ask from You..(mention your favor). 

Amen. 

This prayer should be prayed for three consecutive days. After the third day, your sincere desire shall be granted no matter how difficult it may be. Promise to offer thanksgiving by sharing and expressing it on granting of your favor. This idea is to spread the wonders of the Holy Spirit.

Help them to grow in their faith; may they persevere in unity, love, and peace. Bless our children, protect our young people, and be a companion to those in their senior years. Help them when they are tested by sickness, suffering, loneliness, or whenever they experience loss in their lives. Help all of us in our daily struggles, giving us hope and peace. Pray for us, St. Anthony, so that we may continue to grow in God’s love. Intercede for us through Christ our Lord! Amen. ✝😇

Be rich towards God

Have you ever tried to settle a money dispute or an inheritance issue? 

Inheritance disputes are rarely ever easy to resolve, especially when the relatives or close associates of the deceased benefactor cannot agree on who should get what and who should get the most. Why did Jesus refuse to settle an inheritance dispute between two brothers? He saw that the heart of the issue was not justice or fairness but rather greed and possessiveness.

Loving possessions rather than loving my neighbor

The ten commandments were summarized into two prohibitions - do not worship false idols and do not covet what belongs to another. It's the flip side of the two great commandments - love God and love your neighbor. Jesus warned the man who wanted half of his brother's inheritance to "beware of all covetousness." To covet is to wish to get wrongfully what another possesses or to begrudge what God has given to another. Jesus restates the commandment "do not covet", but he also states that a person's life does not consist in the abundance of his or her possessions.

August of Hippo (354-430 AD) comments on Jesus' words to the brother who wanted more:Greed wants to divide, just as love desires to gather. What is the significance of 'guard against all greed,' unless it is 'fill yourselves with love?' We, possessing love for our portion, inconvenience the Lord because of our brother just as that man did against his brother, but we do not use the same plea. He said, 'Master, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.' We say, 'Master, tell my brother that he may have my inheritance.' (Sermon 265.9)

The fool who was possessed by his riches

Jesus reinforces his point with a parable about a foolish rich man (Luke 12:16-21). Why does Jesus call this wealthy landowner a fool? Jesus does not fault the rich man for his industriousness and skill in acquiring wealth, but rather for his egoism and selfishness - it's mine, all mine, and no one else's. This parable is similar to the parable of the rich man who refused to give any help to the beggar Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). The rich fool had lost the capacity to be concerned for others. His life was consumed with his possessions and his only interests were in himself. His death was the final loss of his soul! What is Jesus' lesson on using material possessions? It is in giving that we receive. Those who are rich towards God receive ample reward - not only in this life - but in eternity as well.

Where is your treasure?

In this little parable Jesus probes our heart - where is your treasure? Treasure has a special connection to the heart, the place of desire and longing, the place of will and focus. The thing we most set our heart on is our highest treasure. What do you treasure above all else?

"Lord Jesus, free my heart from all possessiveness and from coveting what belongs to another. May I desire you alone as the one true treasure worth possessing above all else. Help me to make good use of the material blessings you give me that I may use them generously for your glory and for the good of others."

Heal me, Rescue me and Provide for me, O Merciful Lord

Thank you God for everything, everything in my life is a blessing from you. I have not doubted You O Lord, I know Your timing is always PERFECT. I am now unable to handle things on my own as financial commitments and debts are have overwhelm me. At times I have no money to even meet my basic daily necessities like even fuel for my car, the situation I am in is almost out of my control. Now with my health problems (my right knee is swollen and there seem to be a abnormal bone grow out a my knee cap causing severe pain when I walk or stand or even sitting to long), all things are becoming even more difficult (nearing impossible) for me. I am still surviving each and everyday true You blessings. You are my Lord, God and Savior, You alone can do the impossible, without You I am nothing. All I have is from You, all I am is because of my own faults and all I am going to be depends on You infinite mercy and goodness Lord. Please hear me Lord, hear my cries as I call upon You in this desperate times and help me, rescue me and provide for me, O merciful Lord, let it be as by Your Will. Lord I know that I am a sinner and it is unworthy for You to enter under my roof, but I truly believe and trust that You only have to say the word and I will be healed from my misery. You have said your word does return to You void as in Isaiah 55:11, “so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth, it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”  Heal me Lord by Your mighty healing hands, touch my knee and heal me. Make a way Lord and provided for to overcome these debts so that my life will change, I will repent and as You have helped me, I too will be a help to others and the needy. Lord I make this pray through Your son JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

The day will come when they will fast

Which comes first, fasting or feasting? 

The disciples of John the Baptist were upset with Jesus' disciples because they did not fast. Fasting was one of the three most important religious duties, along with prayer and almsgiving. Jesus gave a simple explanation. There's a time for fasting and a time for feasting (or celebrating). To walk as a disciple with Jesus is to experience a whole new joy of relationship akin to the joy of the wedding party in celebrating with the groom and bride their wedding bliss.

A time to rejoice and a time to mourn 

But there also comes a time when the Lord's disciples must bear the cross of affliction and purification. For the disciple there is both a time for rejoicing in the Lord's presence and celebrating his goodness and a time for seeking the Lord with humility and fasting and for mourning over sin. Do you take joy in the Lord's presence with you and do you express sorrow and contrition for your sins?

The closed mind that refuses to learn

Jesus goes on to warn his disciples about the problem of the "closed mind" that refuses to learn new things. Jesus used an image familiar to his audience - new and old wineskins. In Jesus' times, wine was stored in wineskins, not bottles. New wine poured into skins was still fermenting. The gases exerted gave pressure. New wine skins were elastic enough to take the pressure, but old wine skins easily burst because they had become hard and had lost their ability to expand and stretch. What did Jesus mean by this comparison? Are we to reject the old in place of the new?

Treasuring the old and new wine of the Holy Spirit 

Just as there is a right place and a right time for fasting and for feasting, so there is a right place for the old as well as the new. Jesus says the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old (Matthew 13:52). How impoverished we would be if we only had the Old Testament or the New Testament books of the Bible, rather than both. The Lord gives us wisdom so we can make the best use of both the old and the new. He doesn't want us to hold rigidly to the past and to be resistant to the new work of his Holy Spirit in our lives. He wants our minds and hearts to be like new wine skins - open and ready to receive the new wine of the Holy Spirit. Are you eager to grow in the knowledge and understanding of God's word and plan for your life?

"Lord Jesus, fill me with your Holy Spirit, that I may grow in the knowledge of your great love and truth. Help me to seek you earnestly in prayer and fasting that I may turn away from sin and willfulness and conform my life more fully to your will. May I always find joy in knowing, loving, and serving you."
