Morning prayer ~ as I begin my day

Lord, as I begin my day, I pray

that You would fill me with 

Your Holy Spirit.

Cover me with Your protecting wings 

and keep me safe from 

harm and spiritual attacks.

Help me to speak only words 

You would have me speak

and do only things 

You would have me do.

AMEN.

Morning Prayer

Dear Lord,

Thank you for this day.

I choose to let go 

of my fears and worries

and put my trust in You completely.

Lord, I am aware 

that with You, 

I can overcome all the barriers

to reach my destiny.

You are an omnipresent God,

I know You are here with me.

Lead me Lord, 

and direct my steps

to the paths of righteousness,

all the days of my life.

Amen.

O Lord God, Almighty

and everlasting Father,

You have brought me in safety

to this new day.

Lord, preserve me with Your Mighty power,

that I may not fall into sin,

nor be overcome by adversity,

and in all i do,

direct me to fulfilling

of Your purpose,

through Jesus Christ 

my Lord and Saviour.
