Dear God, open a door for my message, so that I may proclaim the mystery of Christ. I pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Colossians 4:3-4

MAKE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

THE GOLDEN ARROW PRAYER (to be said 5 times in paying reverence to the Five Major Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ)

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and ineffable Name of God be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in Heaven, on earth and under the earth, by all the creatures of God and by the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.

Amen.

O God, Come unto my assistance. R. O Lord, make haste to help me.

V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; R. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Amen.

My dearest Lord Jesus Crucified, bending low before Thee, with Mary most holy and with all the Angels and Saints in paradise, I adore the most holy Wound in Thy right Hand. I give Thee thanks for the infinite love, wherewith Thou didst will to suffer so many bitter pains because of my sins which I detest with all my heart; I implore Thee to grant graciously to Thy holy Church victory over all her enemies, and to all her children grace to walk in holiness in the way of Thy commandments.

Our Father...Hail Mary...Glory Be...

My dearest Lord Jesus Crucified, bending low before Thee, with Mary most holy and with all the Angels and Saints in paradise, I adore the sacred Wound in Thy left Hand, and I beseech Thee for grace for all poor sinners, for the dying, and especially for those who will not be reconciled to Thee.

Our Father...Hail Mary...Glory Be...

My dearest Lord Jesus Crucified, bending low before Thee, with Mary most holy and with all the Angels and Saints in paradise, I adore the sacred Wound in Thy right Foot, and I beg of Thee this grace, that countless flowers of holiness may blossom among the clergy and all those who are consecrated to Thee.

Our Father...Hail Mary...Glory Be...

My dearest Lord Jesus Crucified, bending low before Thee, with Mary most holy and with all the Angels and Saints in paradise, I adore the sacred Wound in Thy left Foot, and implore Thee to deliver the holy souls in purgatory, and especially those who in life were most devout toward Thy sacred Wounds.

Our Father...Hail Mary...Glory Be...

My dearest Lord Jesus Crucified, bending low before Thee, with Mary most holy and with all the Angels and Saints in paradise, I adore the sacred Wound in Thy most holy Side, and I pray Thee to bless and graciously hear all those who have recommended themselves to my prayers.

Our Father...Hail Mary...Glory Be...

V. O Virgin most sorrowful, R. Pray for us (to be repeated three times).

My Crucified Jesus, confirm these prayers by the merits of Thy Passion; give me holiness of life, the grace to receive Thy holy Sacraments at the hour of my death, and glory everlasting.

Amen.

IN CLOSING, MAKE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Act of Consecration to the Blessed Sacrament

My LORD Jesus Christ, Who because of Your love for men remain night and day in the Blessed Sacrament, full of pity and of love, awaiting, calling and welcoming all who come to visit You, I believe that You are present here on the altar. I adore You, and I thank You for all the graces You have bestowed on me, especially for having given me Yourself in this Sacrament, for having given me Your most holy Mother Mary to plead for me, and for having called me to visit You in this church.

I now salute Your most loving Heart, and that for three ends: first, in thanksgiving for this great gift; secondly, to make amends to You for all the outrages committed against You in this Sacrament by Your enemies; thirdly, I intend by this visit to adore You in all the places on earth in which You are present in the Blessed Sacrament and in which You are least honored and most abandoned.

My Jesus, I love You with my whole heart. I am very sorry for having so many times offended Your infinite goodness. With the help of Your grace, I purpose never to offend You again. And now, unworthy though I am, I consecrate myself to You without reserve. I renounce and give entirely to You my will, my affection, my desires and all that I possess. For the future, dispose of me and all I have as You please.

All I ask of You is Your holy love, final perseverance and that I may carry out Your will perfectly. I recommend to You the souls in Purgatory, especially those who had the greatest devotion to

the Blessed Sacrament and to the Blessed Virgin Mary. I also recommend to You all poor sinners.

Finally, my dear Saviour, I unite all my desires with the desires of Your most loving Heart; and I offer them, thus united, to the Eternal Father, and beseech Him, in Your name and for love of You, to accept and grant them.

Amen.

Who do you say that Jesus is?

Who is Jesus for you - and what difference does he make in your life?

Many in Israel recognized Jesus as a mighty man of God, even comparing him with the greatest of the prophets. Peter, always quick to respond whenever Jesus spoke, professed that Jesus was truly the "Christ of God" - "the Son of the living God" (Matthew 16:16). No mortal being could have revealed this to Peter, but only God. Through the "eyes of faith" Peter discovered who Jesus truly was. Peter recognized that Jesus was much more than a great teacher, prophet, and miracle worker. Peter was the first apostle to publicly declare that Jesus was the Anointed One, consecrated by the Father and sent into the world to redeem a fallen human race enslaved to sin and cut off from eternal life with God (Luke 9:20, Acts 2:14-36). The word for "Christ" in Greek is a translation of the Hebrew word for "Messiah" - both words literally mean the Anointed One.

Jesus begins to explain the mission he was sent to accomplish
Why did Jesus command his disciples to be silent about his identity as the anointed Son of God? They were, after all, appointed to proclaim the good news to everyone. Jesus knew that they did not yet fully understand his mission and how he would accomplish it. Cyril of Alexandria (376-444 AD), an early church father, explains the reason for this silence:There were things yet unfulfilled which must also be included in their preaching about him. They must also proclaim the cross, the passion, and the death in the flesh. They must preach the resurrection of the dead, that great and truly glorious sign by which testimony is borne him that the Emmanuel is truly God and by nature the Son of God the Father. He utterly abolished death and wiped out destruction. He robbed hell, and overthrew the tyranny of the enemy. He took away the sin of the world, opened the gates above to the dwellers upon earth, and united earth to heaven. These things proved him to be, as I said, in truth God. He commanded them, therefore, to guard the mystery by a seasonable silence until the whole plan of the dispensation should arrive at a suitable conclusion. (Commentary on Luke, Homily 49)

God's Anointed Son must suffer and die to atone for our sins
Jesus told his disciples that it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and die in order that God's work of redemption might be accomplished. How startled the disciples were when they heard this word. How different are God's thoughts and ways from our thoughts and ways (Isaiah 55:8). It was through humiliation, suffering, and death on the cross that Jesus broke the powers of sin and death and won for us eternal life and freedom from the slavery of sin and from the oppression of our enemy, Satan, the father of lies and the deceiver of humankind.

We, too, have a share in the mission and victory of Jesus Christ
If we want to share in the victory of the Lord Jesus, then we must also take up our cross and follow where he leads us. What is the "cross" that you and I must take up each day? When my will crosses (does not align) with God's will, then his will must be done. To know Jesus Christ is to know the power of his victory on the cross where he defeated sin and conquered death through his resurrection. The Holy Spirit gives each of us the gifts and strength we need to live as sons and daughters of God. The Holy Spirit gives us faith to know the Lord Jesus personally as our Redeemer, and the power to live the Gospel faithfully, and the courage to witness to others the joy, truth, and freedom of the Gospel. Who do you say that Jesus is?

"Lord Jesus, I believe and I profess that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Take my life, my will, and all that I have, that I may be wholly yours now and forever."

I need you Lord Jesus Christ ....

I have desired greatly to eat this Paschal supper
with you before I suffer, alleluia.

Lord, you have given your people the food of angels, from heaven untiringly sending them bread already prepared, containing every delight, satisfying every taste.

I will go up to the altar of God, alleluia.
I will receive Christ,
who renews my youth, alleluia.

Devotion in Honour of the Five Holy Wounds of Jesus Christ

As I kneel before Thee on the Cross, most loving Saviour of my soul, my conscience tells me it is I who have nailed Thee to that Cross with these hands of mine, as often as I have fallen into mortal sin, wearing Thee with my monstrous ingratitude.

My God, my chief and most perfect Good, worthy of all my love, seeing Thou hast ever loaded me with blessings, I cannot now undo my misdeeds, as I would most willingly, but I can and will loathe them, grieving greatly for having offended Thee Who art infinite Goodness. And now, kneeling at Thy feet, I will try at least to compassionate Thee, to give Thee thanks, to ask of Thee pardon and contrition. Wherefore, with heart and lips I say:

(To the Wound of the Left Foot)
Holy Wound of the Left Foot of my Jesus, I adore Thee! I compassionate Thee, O my Jesus, for that most bitter pain which Thou didst suffer. I thank Thee for the love whereby Thou was wearied in overtaking me on to way to ruin, and didst bleed amid the thorns and brambles of my sins. I offer to the Eternal Father the pain and love of Thy most Sacred Humanity, in atonement for my sins, all of which I detest with sincere and bitter contrition.

(To the Wound of the Right Foot)
Holy Wound of the Right Foot of my Jesus, I adore Thee! I compassionate Thee, O my Jesus, for that most bitter pain which Thou didst suffer. I thank Thee for the love which pierced Thee with such torture and shedding of blood in order to punish my wanderings and the guilty pleasures I have granted to my passions. I offer to the Eternal Father all the pain and love of Thy most Sacred Humanity, and I pray unto Him for grace to weep over my transgressions with burning tears, and to enable me to persevere in the good which I have begun, without ever swerving again from my obedience to the commandments of my God.

(To the Wound of the Left Hand)
Holy Wound of the Left Hand of my Jesus, I adore Thee! I compassionate Thee, O my Jesus, for that most bitter pain which Thou didst suffer. I thank Thee for having, in Thy love, spared me the scourges and eternal damnation which my sins have merited. I offer to the Eternal Father the pain and love of Thy most Sacred Humanity, and I pray Him to teach me how to turn to good account my span of life, and bring forth in it worthy fruits of penance, and so disarm the angry justice of my God.

(To the Wound of the Right Hand)
Holy Wound of the Right Hand of my Jesus, I adore Thee! I compassionate Thee, O my Jesus, for that most bitter pain which Thou didst suffer. I thank Thee for Thy graces lavished on me with such love, in spite of all my miserable obstinacy. I offer to the Eternal Father all the pain and love of Thy most Sacred Humanity, and I pray Him to change my heart and its affections, and make me do all my actions in accordance with the will of God.

(To the Wound in the Sacred Side)
Holy Wound in the Side of my Jesus, I adore Thee! I compassionate Thee, O my Jesus, for the cruel insult Thou didst suffer. I thank Thee, my Jesus, for the love which suffered Thy side and Heart to be pierced, that the last drops of Blood and water might issue forth, making my redemption to abound. I offer to the Eternal Father this outrage, and the love of Thy most Sacred Humanity, that my soul may enter once for all into that most loving Heart, eager and ready to receive the greatest sinners, and from it may never more depart.

Jesus Christ is coming Soon. Please Save a Soul today.

Photo: *MUST READ*

A pastor was traveling last week, he saw
an old man, and gave him a lift. While they
were going, the old man said; my son, do
you know what happened in Heaven last
night?

The pastor was so terrified and hurriedly
parked and asked; Sir, are you sleeping?
How did you get the information about
Heaven?
The Old man said; last night in Heaven God
became very angry with man and asked
the Angels to blow the trumpet. The
angels picked up the trumpets and as they
were about to blow it WHEN, Jesus fell
down and began to plead in tears. The
blood that came out of His hands and body
were very fresh. He told God that His
death shouldn't be in vain.

God couldn't stand the pains of the saint
and the wickedness of the evil ones. So He
said; "I AM GIVING THEM THEIR LAST
CHANCE."

Jesus then turned to the angels and told
them to move down in their numerous
numbers to tell the world that:
"THE END IS NEAR, JESUS IS COMING VERY
SOON".

The pastor (sweating and crying) asked; sir,
how did you know this?
The OLD MAN replied; I am one of the
Angels sent

Feast Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe (Solemnity) ~ 2013

The Feast of Christ the King is a moveable feast. It is celebrated on the final Sunday of the liturgical year, which is the last Sunday before Advent starts. This feast was instituted by Pope Pius XI in 1925. This solemnity comes at the end of the liturgical year and brings together the mystery of Jesus firstborn from the dead and ruler of the kings of the earth. It is celebrated in the Roman Catholic church in honour of Jesus Christ as lord over all creation and it is also observed in Lutheran, Anglican, and other Protestant churches. During every Advent season, we the faithful await the "coming King", the King of peace and the light of hope that takes away the darkness forever at the Nativity of our Lord Jesus and also for the second coming of the Lord as which marks the end of times. Jesus was born of Judah tribe of Kings, came to serve all and his kingdom is divine. Today we are honouring Jesus the King who humbled himself in order to raise us up to the status of the Sons of God, a king who suffered the cruellest of deaths as a sacrificial Lamb of God so that we could have an unending life of happiness when we leave this earth at end of times when Jesus will come as the Lion of Judah, the righteous King and Judge.

Philippians 2:10-11
At the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Almighty ever-living God, whose will is to restore all things in your beloved Son, the King of the universe, grant, we pray, that the whole creation, set free from slavery, may render your majesty service and ceaselessly proclaim your praise. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. AMEN.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe (Solemnity)

Reading 1
2 Samuel 5: 1 - 3

1Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron, and said, "Behold, we are your bone and flesh.
2In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you that led out and brought in Israel; and the LORD said to you, `You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over Israel.'"
3So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron; and King David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the LORD, and they anointed David king over Israel.

Psalm
Psalms 122: 1 - 5

1I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!"
2Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem!
3Jerusalem, built as a city which is bound firmly together,
4to which the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.
5There thrones for judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David.

Reading 2
Colossians 1: 12 - 20

12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
13He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,
14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation;
16for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities -- all things were created through him and for him.
17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
18He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent.
19For in him all the fulness of God was pleased to dwell,
20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

Gospel
Luke 23: 35 - 43

35And the people stood by, watching; but the rulers scoffed at him, saying, "He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen One!"
36The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him vinegar,
37and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"
38There was also an inscription over him, "This is the King of the Jews."
39One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, "Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!"
40But the other rebuked him, saying, "Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?
41And we indeed justly; for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong."
42And he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
43And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise."

Prayer to Christ the King

O Christ Jesus, I acknowledge Thee to be the King of the universe: all that has been made is created for Thee. Exercise over me all Thy sovereign rights. I hereby renew the promises of my Baptism, renouncing Satan and all his works and pomps, and I engage myself to lead henceforth a truly Christian life. And in an especial manner do I undertake to bring about the triumph of the rights of God and Thy Church, so far as in me lies. Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer Thee my poor actions to obtain the acknowledgment by every heart of Thy sacred Kingly power. In such wise may the kingdom of Thy peace be firmly established throughout all the earth. Amen.

Short, Simple and yet Powerful ~ JESUS CHRIST

"Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner", a simple yet powerful prayer from the bible, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ (Luke 18:13)

If you have faith in Christ, hope in Christ, and love of Christ, then invoke His holy name "JESUS CHRIST" in your prayer and affirm your prayer in His name because Christ Himself has assured by His words, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me" (Matthew 28:18). God the Father, creator of all is the most supreme power in the universe and Jesus is Incarnate son of God became flesh, dwell among us and to later become a sacrificial lamb to pay for our salvation as in (John 3:16), "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." Jesus Christ is true God and true man who is one with His father God in heaven, as Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6). We are in Jesus Christ and He is in the Father and His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of love, unites us all. "At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. (John 14:20)

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!

Jesus Christ Died, Rose and Will Come Again

JESUS
LAMB of GOD by Your Sacrifice and Blood on the Cross,
You took away our sins, our cross, and our shame.
A supreme act of love, God redeem us, freeing and enabling us to Love Him in return.
JESUS, Worthy is Your name, there is None like You,
my Saviour and Lord.
Have mercy on us and grant us peace.

JESUS CHRIST by Your Resurrection,
You have revealed to us,
Your Divinity,
Your Power in Forgiving Sins,
and this gave us New Life in Christ
to live in the happy and joyful
expectation of His coming again.
Your Promise of Eternal Life by defeating death,
and Your Victory over God’s enemy by shattering Satan plans to overthrow the Kingdom of God.
Blessed are Lord, the Risen King.
Alleluia Praised the Lord
and Glory to You in the Highest.

JESUS CHRIST, You will Come Again,
At this time death will be no more and the dead shall rise, and their souls will unite with their bodies.
You will come in glory, escorted by all the angels of heaven, You will sit upon Your royal throne and all the nations will be assembled before You. You will then separate those assembled into two groups,
as a shepherd separated sheep from goats.
This is the final judgement,
where You will judge the living and the dead,
where the final verdict is based on their responses and actions of God's grace during their lifetime,
and the account of their conduct and the deepest secrets
of their soul will come to light of the Lord judgement.
The righteous You will bring back
to Your Heavenly Kingdom,
where there will Eternal Life.
Have mercy on us, and on the whole world!

BE PREPARED for the Second Coming of Christ Jesus. Start now, if you have not or if you think there is still time, I assure you you will not have time later. Even if this day does not come before our lifetime on earth, REMEMBER this words “He will judge the living and the dead, the dead will rise and their soul will unite with their bodies. Those who have done right shall rise to life; the evildoers shall rise to be damned".

Always be prepared spiritually, and pray to remain worthy to stand before the Lord. Get ready and alert for the day Jesus will come again as the day of the Lord will come like a thief. Therefore, repent, change and come back to God now, He still loves us. Follow Jesus and accept His invitation, He is always waiting for us. The righteous need not fear as the Lord will preserve the righteous by His power. For the righteous, it will be a day of peace and triumph.

We do not know when the Second Coming will occur. Jesus said, "As to the exact day or hour, no one knows it, neither the angels in heaven nor even the Son, but only the Father. Be constantly on the watch! Stay awake! You do not know when the appointed time will come".

Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ, our Supreme Treasure

Matthew 13: 44 - 46

44"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
45"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls,
46who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Like the man and the merchant in the parable, when we have found the kingdom of heaven, we will be filled with joy in discovering the supreme value of the kingdom of God and, we ought to spare no pains, no expense, nothing whatever, that we may possess it. As also mentioned in Matthew 19:21, "Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Matthew 16:24-26
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. 25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. 26 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?

"The kingdom of heaven is worth infinitely more than the cost of discipleship,
and those who know where the treasure lies
joyfully abandon everything else to secure it."
by D. A. Carson

The treasure that the kingdom of heaven promises is worth every sacrifice necessary to secure it, and once secured to maintain it. Jesus Christ is the true Treasure, in Him there is an abundance of all that which is rich and greatness, and will be a portion for us. For those still finding and wondering for Jesus, there will come a time when we will appreciate what a priceless pearl we have in Jesus. Turn back to Jesus and have true faith in Him for there is none comparable to Him and His eternal Kingdom.

As Saint Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:12, "For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."

The parable also could be seen as how much God love us as gave His son Jesus Christ to dies for us, His priceless creation and treasure; Jesus
came and give all that he had so that he might take all the hurt of humanity into his own heart, might know the aching agony of all that we go through, and thus be able to touch us, to heal us.

“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep
to gain what he cannot lose.”
by Jim Elliott, martyred missionary to the Auca Indians of South America

Our heavenly Father,
how we thank you
for the marvellous truth that you,
Lord, have bought the world,
that it belongs to you,
and that you shall some day rule and reign
in power and glory in its midst
and all your promises shall be fulfilled.
We pray, Lord Jesus,
that we may all apply this to our lives,
and that we may understand
that you desire to heal us
and bring us right now
into an experience of joy and glory
and gladness and fruitfulness.
We ask these in Jesus' name, Amen.
