JESUS, King of Kings the Lion of Judah

Jesus, bloodline can be traced by genealogy to King David who was a descendant of tribe Judah the son of Israel. a tribe of the Kings, thus the Lion of Judah. Jesus was the descendant of tribe Judah through mother Mary, foster father Joseph and His father the Almighty God, as we can observe in the Genealogy of Jesus in Luke 3:23-38. When John the Baptist said “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" John 1:29, the Lamb of God redeems us from our bondage to sin. In Genesis 49:10, "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.", makes “Lion of Judah” a Messianic title and since Jesus is the Messiah who will rule the world. The Lord’s first Coming is clearly associated as the “Lamb of God” and therefore in the Lord's Second Coming, He will come as the King of Kings the “Lion of Judah” to rule and judge.

Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies;
Your father’s children shall bow down before you.
Judah is a lion’s whelp;
From the prey, my son, you have gone up.
He bows down, he lies down as a lion;
And as a lion, who shall rouse him?

Proverbs 19:12
The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion,
But his favor is like dew on the grass.

Daniel 7:4
The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

Revelation 10:3
